Located down a quiet dirt road in the town of Gouldsboro is Swedish Cottage. From which its name is derived, this Swedish inspired post and beam cottage is light, airy and open. Sitting near the waters of Joy Bay, this cottage features a small deck and large lawn. Sit back in the summer sun and enjoy the smell of the fir trees that surround the property and feel the cool breeze coming off the water.
Inside the cottage you will enjoy a well-supplied kitchen that is open to the dining area and living room. A bedroom with two twin beds is on the first floor along with the bathroom. Up the stairs you will find a new queen bed in the loft.
Gouldsboro has all of the charm of Downeast Maine with less hustle and bustle than some of the busier areas. Take day trips to Acadia, Campobello Island, local wineries, art festivals, and many places in between. You’re also minutes away from the Schoodic Peninsula of Acadia National Park, Winter Harbor, Prospect Harbor and more!
